make your own easter bonnet

As Easter comes along I’m facing a dilemma… how to create
my child’s Easter bonnet and how to make it fun and
creative but still remain eco friendly. Some materials
I’m considering to use this year are: recycled paper,
old newspapers, old magazines, old fabrics, raffia and
tissue paper.

Here are a few creative options:
1. Bunny ears bonnet- create a simple ring from paper… measure your child’s head first to get it right than glue two large bunny ears made from paper or old magazines and cover with tissue paper… don’t forget to be colourful- yellow, orange, purple.

2. Traditional bonnet- use an old straw hat and
add a ribbon (any colour would do) and flowers- fresh,
dry or paper made flowers…

3. Super creative bonnet- try to construct a unique bespoke bonnet for your child… you can choose a theme- create a flower shape hat or little chic yellow hat… or a mix style bonnet. Remember, the more colourful and unique the better!
